Work <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday the 1st of September I returned to work for my first proper day since the 20th of March. Since I usually only crochet in the evening this really should have no impact on my crochet schedule…oh how silly I am!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I forgot that working full time also means taking the children to the Childminder\u2019s and picking them back up again. It also means me running round like a crazy person cooking tea so that they have a proper cooked meal in the evening. It\u2019s then bath time and story time, just in time for the husband to get home to take over. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While he\u2019s doing that I do a quick tidy up then a HIIT session, meaning by the time the husband and I have sat down had our own tea and caught up on each other\u2019s day there\u2019s not many minutes left until it\u2019s time to go to bed for it to start all over again!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have a very tight schedule this year as I want to make ALL of my Christmas gifts AND I want them all done so I can enjoy my Little Box of Crochet<\/a> advent box in real time when it arrives (on a side note, have you seen the spoilers?? It looks A-MAZE-ING!!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Completed gift<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m usually very organised having all my gifts sorted by October half term, that includes all the bits for the kids and hubby\u2019s stockings. I\u2019ve not bought a single thing this year – eek!! I have three gifts made and two others to sew together. Doesn\u2019t sound so bad, but my crochet rate has decreased significantly since my return to work. Mostly because I am so tired and my eyes don\u2019t work very well (despite my new glasses!!) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The only crochet I managed in an evening <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Am I going to manage it?!!? Of course I am!! I am determined that I don\u2019t buy much this year and that everything I make is using yarn I already have…pipe dream?? I don\u2019t think so, I just hope work begins to settle down and I walk less than 5 miles each day around the school building! There\u2019s 11 weeks between now and my advent adventure beginning.
